fishing report 4-9-19

there were a few people out yesterday fishing even though it was a Monday, those fishing around point look out and white stone were picking up a few walleyes trolling hard body's, like deep husky jerks, flicker minnows and bandits, brighter custom colors seemed to be what was working. Jt custom flicker minnows in buck nasty, and DeWald's customs deep husky jerks were the top producers. those fishing for suckers are still having a blast, sponges soaked in EO-40 from eagle one bait products were doing good along with night crawlers. steel head fisherman are doing good. Tawas area is producing some walleyes at the mouth of the river. along with suckers and the occasional steel head. as always have a fun and safe day of fishing.
